What We Did:
Social Media Marketing
Mysonne, made a name for himself in the hip hop community. He learned the rap game battling artists like Shyne and DMX and taking over the mix tape circuit. In the late 90’s Mysonne appeared on magazine covers, killing the mix tape game, and he scored a major deal with the iconic record label, Def Jam.
Our aim was to facilitate more exposure for Mysonne. Our objective was to shape public perception of Mysonne across social media platforms and promote his works on Soundcloud.
We maintained a fast response rate to Fan’s messages, mentions, comments and queries, we focused on organic growth on social media channels. For Soundcloud we used right tags to connect with our audience and joined relevant groups.

YouTube & SoundCloud Strategy
For YouTube, we started with basic optimisation like adding new tags that are popular amongst the new gen rap lovers. In addition to this, we planned & executed YouTube ads to attract views, plus we integrated YouTube tab with the Facebook page
For SoundCloud, once we upgraded the existing account, to a pro account, we joined & maintained active participation within similar groups. Content optimization and appropriate tagging made MySonne's music more visible and stayed on top of search results. In addition to this, collaborating with other artists increased reach & impression significantly.
